Jennie Maldonado Attorney
Jennie Maldonado has been a civil litigator since her admission to the North Carolina Bar 25 years ago. Her practice focuses on complex claims across the state involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, §1983 claims, products liability claims, construction defect litigation, environmental and toxic torts, premises liability, and coverage evaluations and litigation.
Jennie regularly lectures on insurance coverage litigation, insurance bad faith, litigation case management, settlement strategy, risk transfer, and accident investigation. She has tried over a dozen cases to verdict within North Carolina state and federal courts. She has also handled appeals before the North Carolina Appellate Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Jennie is a native of Asheville, North Carolina. She received her Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her free time, Jennie enjoys traveling with her family, cheering on the Tar Heels, watching Masterpiece on PBS, and attending monthly Baked Brie Book Club gatherings.
